Hi, I’m Sumathi Kotthuri, a passionate and experienced technology leader with over 15 years of expertise in software development and architecture, specializing in Java, Python, and cloud-native technologies. I’ve worn many hats in my career—from hands-on coder to solution architect and people manager—driven by a deep interest in building scalable, efficient, and impactful systems.

Throughout my journey, I’ve worked across diverse industries, leading teams, modernizing legacy systems, and architecting event-driven microservices. I believe in continuous learning and the power of clean architecture, automation, and DevOps in delivering high-quality software.

Currently, I’m exploring generative AI and its potential to transform the way we build and interact with technology. I also enjoy mentoring others, simplifying complex concepts, and creating visual technical content that makes learning engaging and accessible.

Outside of work, I find joy in sketching out ideas, designing diagrams, and reflecting on life’s deeper questions. Life has taught me to value clarity, purpose, and authenticity—in both code and conversations.
